Avago's simplex and duplex connectors for fiber optic patchcords are low-cost for plastic optical fiber(polymer optical fiber, POF), which are compatible with any versatile link series transmitters and receivers. These fiber optic connectors use a simple latching and non-latching, snap-together concept which eliminates the need for crimping.
The fiber optic connectors can be used for automotive networks, gaming and medical equipment and industrial control and voltage isolation.
