Light source(also called light engine) primarily falls into two categories: Halogen light source and Led light source(also called LED light engine). Halogen light source creates a twinkle effect though clolor wheel while Led light source(also called LED light engine) can create a much better fiber optic lighting effect than Halogen light source due to it's twinkle and time-control blink units.
By using with side glow fiber/cable, end glow fiber/cable, solid core fiber/cable, these light engines can create a very good lighting effect.
